We visited the homestead this past weekend. Indeed they were fine with our two dogs in tow. We couldn't take them in the house of course but the tour guide didn't seem to mind them poking around in the outbuildings as walked the grounds.

The Homestead also has a nice, short hiking trail through the woods along Fox Creek and a small beach for dogs who like a little off-the-beaten-path adventure!
